Pain is your friend. Comfort will lead you nowhere.


What pain do you have gnawing at you?

I’m not talking about physical pain, I mean emotional pain.

Perhaps you would simply LIKE to lose some weight…
Maybe firm and tone… that would be nice.
Oh and I’d like to see my abs. That would be great.

But… there is absolutely NO reason for you to take the steps you need to make those things happen, if you’re just thinking it would be nice. It won’t happen for you if you don’t put in the work.

Nobody is going to give you a great body, or break those sabotaging lifestyle habits for you. You have to put the work in.

And to put in the work, you have to WANT IT more than you want to skip meals, drink beer, or eat birthday cake at the office. You have to want it more than you want to avoid changing into your workout clothes. You have to want it more than you want the comfort of air conditioning and a soft office chair. WANT IT more than you want the convenience of eating whatever there is to eat. More than the comfort of saying “I don’t have time, money, or a gym, so I guess I won’t.” Want it MORE than the comfort of settling for the way your life is now.

It takes work to become aware and learn what you need to do to get fit, or to become the person you want to become. It takes effort to do what it takes.

But if you want it, then the steps are simply the way to get there. The effort is simply part of having it.

This whole process will not ever happen… If you are OK with where you are.

You have to realize that your current situation is MORE painful than the work it takes to get you to the other side…

Comfort will lead you nowhere.
