What do you like most about your work?

I love the moment someone “gets it”, and realizes that there is really nothing standing in their way except themselves. When I can show someone the tips that help them make it past a block, and grow as a person on their way to fitness, that is why I love what I do.

Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

I have lived the lives of a professional bodybuilder, a recreational athlete, a busy entrepreneur, and someone who was once out of shape. Whatever your current life situation, whatever your fitness goals, I can relate because I have been there personally, and I know how to rise above challenges and progress towards your goals.

Secondly, I have learned from and utilize my wife’s knowledge with nearly every client. She is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and Integrated Medicine. This gets into the heart of someone’s health issues, and goes way beyond working out to benefit their long term health.

Do you have a favorite story from your work?

I never condone doing the least amount of work. There is no magic pill. I always suggest little techniques you can apply to make your fitness program take off and give you results faster, because you got involved. That said, I enjoyed hearing from my client who lost 10 pounds in one month by following my basic plan, and then reported back to me “That was pretty easy I didn’t really have to do anything”. It proves my plan works, but I still got on him for taking the easy way out. :-)

Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

Accountability and self discipline is necessary to reach goals. I am continually improving myself and my skills through my own personal lifestyle coach and business coach. This makes me an overall better coach.

If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

When you are shopping for a fitness coach, it’s not about the credentials, the years of service, or even the results. It’s mostly about finding a partner who shares your goals as their own goals. This partnership is the accountability that WILL make you successful. It’s not about a written guide you can follow. It’s about a partnership.

What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What’s your answer?

People often ask how often they should eat, or how often they should work out. My answer is “Generally, you should eat several small meals throughout the day. WHAT you eat is most important. As far as workouts, exercise is relative. Let’s start with your current schedule and resources. You want to be able to do the basic simple things first, and then become more regimented when you understand the impact of consistency.”

What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

I am able to work with you from anywhere in the world. There are not generic products you can buy from my website, because that is not where the results are. The results are within YOU. It’s my job to bring them out of you!

What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

Make sure you are ready to change some things. If you are seeking health and fitness because that’s what you lack, it means you need to make some lifestyle changes and form some habits, and break other habits. I will help you identify where you need to make these changes, and I will help you begin to form the lifestyle habits that will start your momentum.
